Simeon Spearman, Futurist & Founder
Simeon Spearman is the Futurist & Founder of Canary Foresight, a strategic foresight consultancy focused on helping organizations anticipate and navigate future trends. He is a graduate of the University of Houston's Foresight master's degree program, and since graduating has spent over 15 years of experience at the intersection of innovation, market research, and strategic forecasting. Simeon is uniquely qualified to lead complex foresight projects that guide businesses through uncertainty.
His background includes roles at AT&T, he spearheaded innovative marketing programs, including groundbreaking influencer content collaborations that garnered industry accolades such as the Streamy and Shorty Awards. At the Metro Atlanta Chamber, Simeon led digital marketing initiatives, launching successful place-branding campaigns and pioneering rapid-response strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic. At Zendesk, where he directed customer insights for the annual CX Trends and Benchmark reports while leading marketing innovation and experimentation pilots with generative AI tools, leveraging foresight methods and marketing expertise to guide experimentation and pilots.
Simeon's extensive foresight expertise began early in his career as a Futurist at Social Technologies, delivering scenario-planning projects and global lifestyle trend analyses for Fortune 500 clients. He continued this trajectory through leadership roles at Publicis and Moxie, establishing innovation labs and trendspotting practices that directly impacted strategic marketing and product development.
Now leading Canary, Simeon integrates his deep understanding of cultural shifts, emerging technologies, and strategic forecasting to empower organizations in crafting resilient, forward-thinking strategies for a rapidly evolving world.
